Jamie Jenkins, M.A., CCC-SLP has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for over 6 years. She began her career in the school system with Lewisville Independent School District. Jamie worked at a private practice in the Dallas area focusing primarily on the treatment of children with autism before joining Monkey Mouths. Jamie has received training in Sound Card System, Picture Exchange Communication System, Talk Tools Oral Placement Therapy, PROMPT, and Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD). Jamie has received extensive training in autism with the Social Communication Emotional Regulation and Transactional Support model (SCERTS). She believes successful speech and language therapy includes effective collaboration among the SLP, the family, and all other service professionals. Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband, Lyndon, two sons, and their dog.
