Lindsay Estrada M.S., CCC-SLP

Lindsay Estrada M.S. CCC-SLP has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for over 11 years. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Audiology from The State University of New York (SUNY) at Cortland, as well as a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Prior to joining Monkey Mouths, Lindsay provided the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) to people with Parkinson’s disease among other medical diagnoses, was a SLP and supervisor for a local school district, and worked at a home health agency and clinic where she primarily provided feeding and swallowing therapy for medically fragile children. Lindsay received certification in NMES training in order to utilize Vital Stim Therapy.  Also during her time with the home health agency and clinic, Lindsay also collaborated with occupational therapists, case managers, physical therapists, referring pediatricians and specialty physicians (ENTs, GI, pulmonologists, neurologists, dietitians, etc) and social workers so the child can be treated as a ‘whole’ and to provide the specialized treatment and plan of care the child deserves. Lindsay is also American Sign Language (ASL) Level 1 Certified, and enjoys working with children with hearing impairment, Apraxia, fluency disorders, and language disorders and recently became trained in LAMP Words for Life augmentative communication devices.

Lindsay truly enjoys family/caregiver involvement and support for the child in order for functional communication and feeding skills to carryover from clinic to home, school, and other settings. She believes every child should be given the opportunity to make progress and improve in areas that may be difficult for them, when provided the tools they need to do so.

Lindsay has had a love for baseball since she was very young, and in her spare time enjoys cheering on the New York Yankees and visiting family and friends on the East Coast when she can. She is currently planning for her upcoming November wedding, enjoys family meals and get- togethers, and loves spending time with her young son Landon.
