Lindsey Getske, M.S., CCC-SLP

Lindsey Getske, M.S., CCC-SLP joined the Monkey Mouths team in March 2017. Before joining Monkey Mouths, Lindsey earned her B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of New Mexico and her M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She has worked with Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) and worked almost 3 years in another pediatric outpatient clinic in the DFW area. Lindsey has received training in Deborah Beckman's Oral Motor Training, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) level one, Sound Card System, and Nancy Kaufman Apraxia System. Lindsey enjoys using simple American Sign Language (ASL) and visual cueing to increase opportunities for effective communication. Lindsey believes there is nothing more rewarding than watching a client's progress, whether it be using a word/sign/picture to communicate consistently or being able to produce the “l” in lion for the first time. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, and exploring the DFW area.
