Megan joined Monkey Mouths, LLC as a speech pathology graduate from the University of Texas at Dallas. Megan completed her Clinical Fellowship Year under the supervision of Erin Bernett and has been practicing at Monkey Mouths for 6.5 years. Upon employment with Monkey Mouths, Megan obtained her PROMPT certification, training with Dr. Carbone PhD, BCBC for verbal ABA techniques and advanced feeding therapy training with Lori Overland M.S., CCC-SLP, Deborah Beckman, M.S., CCC-SLP, and Talk Tools Oral Placement therapy. Megan was also able to pursue training with Nancy Kaufman M.S., CCC and Tamara Kasper M.S., CCC-SLP/BCBA in order to learn new techniques for working with children with apraxia and a duel diagnosis of autism and apraxia. She has also been trained in the Sound Card System. Megan is certified in Vital Stim Therapy, S.O.S. (Sequential Oral Sensory) Feeding Therapy program, and Vocal Cord Dysfunction. She is a member of Junior League of Fort Worth and Kappa Kappa Gamma alumni and advisory board. Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs.
