Hi, I’m Alyssa Brazell, OTR, OTD! I’ve been a certified occupational therapist since 2023 and will be working at the Hurst clinic. I earned my undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and completed my doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Texas Woman’s University. I have experience working in private practice settings.
My therapy style is grounded in playfulness, positivity, and meeting each child exactly where they are on any given day. I focus on empowering kids, building confidence, and reinforcing the belief that they can do hard things. I’m passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming care and supporting children and caregivers as they grow into confident advocates for themselves in everyday life. I believe every win matters and love celebrating progress—big and small.
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with loved ones, playing games, watching a good show, and getting creative with crafts!
