Hi, I’m Amy Amerson, OTD, OTR and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2025 as an occupational therapist. I earned my undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University and my doctoral degree in occupational therapy at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Prior to Monkey Mouths, I have experience in private practice, outpatient, and inpatient settings.
As an occupational therapist, I am dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming environment where children and their families feel loved and supported. I strive to provide holistic, client-centered care that empowers each child to reach their fullest potential. I am passionate about building meaningful relationships rooted in trust and compassion and providing engaging, purposeful, and fun treatment sessions that incorporate each child’s unique interests to inspire growth and lasting progress.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking my dogs, playing tennis, and swimming.
