I’m Andi Capel, OTD, OTR, and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2025 as an occupational therapist. I earned my undergraduate degree from University of Oklahoma and my Doctorate degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Prior to Monkey Mouths, I worked in outpatient pediatric clinic & inpatient rehabilitation hospital.
My therapy style is warm, upbeat, and full of positive energy! I bring a blend of playfulness and purpose to every session, as I truly believe that children make the most meaningful progress when they feel safe, supported, and connected through shared laughter and joyful moments together. I’m 100% dedicated to every single one of my patients, meeting them where they are with compassion and a big dose of encouragement. Whether we’re working through something tough or celebrating a win, I’m all in, every step of the way.
In my spare time I enjoy going on walks, running, exploring new restaurants with friends, shopping, spending time with my family, and traveling!
