I’m Beth Miller, OTR, and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2025 as a Occupational Therapist. I earned my undergraduate degree from Florida State University and my master’s degree from Georgia State University. Prior to Monkey Mouths, I worked in home health, private practice, and Dyslexia focused, intensive outpatient program.
I believe that the foundation of meaningful and effective therapy is built upon fostering connection first. By prioritizing emotional regulation alongside building strong relational bonds, children become more willing to engage in activities that truly resonate with their unique interests and needs. Equally essential is building strong connections with families. When caregivers are encouraged to be involved and knowledgeable, they become allies in reinforcing growth beyond the therapy room. My relational-first approach encourages trust, engagement, and growth across both child and family systems.
