I’m Emily Ortiz, M.S., CCC-SLP, and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2024 as a speech-language pathologist intern under the supervision of Emily Woodby, M.S., CCC-SLP. I earned both my undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Arkansas. Prior to joining Monkey Mouths, my experience included working in private practice, school, and early intervention settings.
During therapy, I strive to create a fun learning environment for clients and caregivers! I believe in designing and implementing individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each client. I also believe in client advocacy as it is my job as a speech therapist to be the voice for my clients, giving them the greatest opportunity to reach their full potential.
In my spare time, I enjoy trying out new restaurants, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks!
