I’m Kathryn (Katy) vanNatta, M.S., CCC-SLP and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2025 as a speech language pathologist. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and my graduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to Monkey Mouths, I have experience working in private practice, school, and pediatric imaging center settings.
I strive to foster a positive and engaging therapy experience for every child, making sure each session is tailored to their individual needs and interests. I believe in a child-centered approach, creating an environment where therapy feels fun and meaningful. I strive to build strong, trusting relationships with both the child and their family to empower the child’s success. I love sharing tangible strategies for families to use at home to support their child’s progress, and I’m always here to guide, encourage, and celebrate the journey. Every child is unique, so I make sure therapy is exciting, effective, and, most importantly, enjoyable!
In my spare time I enjoy reading, doing CrossFit, and exploring new coffee shops. Being from Minnesota, I have fun going for walks or finding new neighborhoods around the Dallas/Southlake area and spending time outside in the Texas sun.
As an SLP since 2025, I have training and specialization in the following:
