I’m Megan Bride, M.S., CCC-SLP and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2024. I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology with an emphasis in Child Life Specialist from Azusa Pacific University and my master’s degree from Biola University. Prior to Monkey Mouths, my experience included working in home health, private practice, school, and adult acute care/rehab settings.
I enjoy providing play-based, child-led, and family-centered therapy that will improve overall communication and feeding skills for the children and families I am blessed to serve. I strive to make therapy fun AND functional! I believe that the key to success in therapy is building relationships with both the child and their family to ensure carry-over of skills in order to meet goals.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, walking local trails, playing board games with family and friends, and spending time with my husband.
As an SLP since 2024, I have training and specialization in the following:
Apraxia/Articulation:
Feeding/Dysphagia:
Language:
Autism:
Augmentative Communications:
Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH)
