I’m Michelle Wong, M.S., CCC-SLP, and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2026 as a certified speech-language pathologist. I earned my undergraduate degree from Baylor University and my graduate degree from Abilene Christian University. Prior to Monkey Mouths, I gained experience working in home health and school settings. I am also bilingual in American Sign Language and Spanish and currently work in our Hurst clinic.
My goal as a speech therapist is to create a therapy experience that is individualized to each child’s unique needs and strengths. I enjoy using child-led, play-based therapy to create a fun and engaging environment where patients feel excited to come to therapy, not intimidated by it. I believe therapy is about growth and working together, and my goal is to walk alongside each child as I guide them toward their maximum potential.
I strive to be flexible, fun, and compassionate in every session. Adjusting my therapy approach to meet each patient’s needs is not a maybe—it’s a given. I understand that therapy can feel scary or frustrating at times, and goals may seem far away, but I am here to reassure both patients and families that we will get there together.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, dancing, walking my dog, and playing card and board games.
As an SLP since 2024, I have training and specialization in the following:
Oral Motor/Feeding Techniques
Hearing Impairment/Cochlear Implants
Augmentative Communication Techniques
