Hi, I’m Olivia Johnson, OTD, OTR, CBIS, and I am an occupational therapist. I earned my undergraduate degree from Texas State University and my doctoral degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Prior to joining Monkey Mouths, I gained experience working in private practice settings.
I believe in seeing each client and their family holistically, allowing me the best lens to create and implement a treatment plan tailored specifically to their needs. I take a strengths-based approach, building on each child’s unique abilities to foster confidence, growth, and meaningful progress. I love making sessions creative and fun — and I’m never afraid to get a little messy in the name of learning!
In my spare time, you can find me exploring antique shops with friends or attempting to improve my pickleball skills. I stay active by taking my dog, Cooper, on walks and attending fitness classes. My faith is also a big part of my life, and I enjoy game nights and community service with my young adult group.
