I’m Gabrielle “Gabby” Amaya, OTD, OTR, and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2024 as an occupational therapist. I earned my undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University and my masters degree/my doctoral degree in occupational therapy (OTD) at The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. My prior experience includes private practice and school.

I am passionate about serving families and aim to create a space where children feel loved, supported, and empowered all while having fun in therapy! I like to use a holistic and strength-based approach to address what is meaningful to children to promote participation in the things they love to do. I believe collaboration is key and look forward to working alongside amazing families and therapists!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, working out, exploring coffee shops, and walking my two Boston Terriers.
