I’m Hannah Ellis, M.S., CCC-SLP, and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2022 as a speech-language pathologist. I earned my undergraduate degrees from Mercer University and Western Carolina University, and my master’s degree from Samford University. Prior to Monkey Mouths, I completed clinical placements in a variety of settings including schools, a private practice, and a hospital where I served in the acute care department.
When providing care, I strive to build close relationships with my families by showcasing each child’s strengths and celebrating little victories along the way. Finding what motivates a child is extremely important to me. I aim to learn these details early in the therapeutic process so I can make each session as unique and individualized as possible. As a Monkey Mouths clinician, I strive to make your child feel loved and learn in a safe, warm environment. I take pride and have passion in helping kiddos become their best self through the power of communication whether that may be through meeting speech, language, or alternative communication goals. In addition, I love helping babies and children find the joy in foods through feeding therapy. Above all else, I want your child to have FUN!
When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my sweet pup (Teddy), trying new restaurants around Fort Worth, running, hiking, cooking, traveling to visit family and friends, and exploring new places! Georgia will always be home, but Fort Worth has a special place in my heart!
I currently have training and specialization in the following:
Apraxia/Articulation:
Feeding/Dysphagia:
Orofacial Myofunctional:
