I’m Makayla Settle, MSOT, OTR, and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2024 as an occupational therapist. I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky and my master’s degree in occupational therapy at Washington University in St. Louis. My prior experience includes acute care.

As an occupational therapist, I value the opportunity to learn and grow with each child and their family to provide creative and individualized care. I jump at the opportunity to empower children and families while fostering a creative and welcoming therapeutic environment through play and engaging therapeutic activities. I have always held a strong passion for pediatrics, and believe that every child should be given the chance to shine in their own light when given skills and opportunity!

In my free time I enjoy reading, baking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
