Kallie Hartman, M.S., CCC-SLP
Provider Type: Speech-Language Pathologist
I’m Kallie Hartman, MS, CCC-SLP and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2023 as a speech-language pathologist. I earned my undergraduate degree from Penn State University and my master's degree from Bloomsburg University. Prior to Monkey Mouths, my experience included working in home health, private practice and school settings.
I believe in a holistic, child and family centered approach to therapy. Therapy is most successful when a child is motivated and engaged. I use play to make therapy fun, while targeting functional goals. Parent engagement is also extremely important to a child's success, and I love to incorporate parent coaching strategies to help parents learn how to best support their child's progress.
In my free time I enjoy staying active, traveling and hiking with my husband. I am a "foodie", so I also love to do a lot of cooking and baking.
As an experienced professional since 2018, I have training and specialization in the following:
- Sound Card System
- Kaufman Apraxia System
- Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing/Edythe Strand PhD, CCC-SLP
- Catherine Shaker M.S., CCC-SLP
- Feeding Therapy: A Sensory Motor Approach – Lori Overland, MS, CCC-SLP
- DIR 101 – Jeffrey Guenzel, M.A., LPC
