Mary Brezik, M.S., CCC-SLP
Provider Type: Speech-Language Pathologist, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, Lead Feeding Therapist
I’m Mary Brezik, M.S., CCC-SLP and I joined Monkey Mouths in August 2012. I graduated from Baylor University Honors Program with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders, then received my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Texas at Dallas. During my career as a speech pathologist, I have pursued additional specialization training in feeding and swallowing disorders. I led the Monkey Mouths team in becoming the first pediatric practice to utilize FEES in Texas. At the Fort Worth clinic, I serve as the lead FEES therapist to evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric speech and feeding disorders.
I also provide continuing education to universities and professional organizations on a variety of topics regarding pediatric feeding disorders. I especially enjoy collaborating with patient families, colleagues, and medical professionals to provide the best individualized care for each patient.
I am a classically trained soprano and pianist and feel speech pathology is a perfect combination of my love of medicine, voice, and working with children. My hobbies include traveling, volunteering, and spending time with my husband and three young children.
