I believe that play can be purposeful. Integrating therapy into play can support and refine the child’s skills while making speech therapy fun! I strive to create an environment where children feel comfortable and encouraged to be their best, regardless of difficulty or diagnosis. Any child is capable of greatness given the tools to be successful and I love serving families to find what works best for their individual child.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, listening to live music and taking my dog Tux to the park.
As an SLP with almost 1 year of experience, I have training and specialization in the following:
- Sound Card System
- DIR 101 Introduction to DIRFloortime
- Simon Says: Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT)
- Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing with Joan Arverdson Ph,D, CCC-SLP, BC-NCD, BRS-S, ASHA Fellow
- Kaufman Apraxia System
