I’m Noelle Montague, M.S., CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert. AVT and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2020. I attended Texas Christian University for undergrad and also earned my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Prior to Monkey Mouths I worked in home health, private practice and pediatric hospital settings. I obtained my Listening and Spoken Language Specialist Certification in 2018.

I attended the North Carolina Summer Institute in 2017 - this program consists of an intensive lecture and education program as well as hands on coaching focusing on Listening and Spoken Language strategies and knowledge. I received additional training as a member of Cook Children’s Auditory-Verbal and Cochlear Implant team where we pioneered collaborative appointments with audiologists as part of an Oberkotter grant. I've presented at numerous national conferences on the art of using “Strengths-based Coaching” (adapted from Evocative Coaching by Bob and Megan Tschannen-Moran) when working with families of CWHL. I’ve also mentored colleagues and students in LSL education and strategies.

I love working from a family-focused mindset. Involving families to where they are a teammate leads to better outcomes in a variety of therapy areas, especially with Listening and Spoken Language.

In my free time I love spending time with my husband, son, daughter and pets. I love cheering on my Horned Frogs, playing sports, reading, singing on my church praise team and girlie outings.

As an SLP with over 9 years of experience, I have training and specialization in the following:

  • Sound Card System
  • Social Thinking with Michelle Garcia Winner M.S., CCC-SLP
  • The Hanen Program It Takes Two to Talk
  • Auditory Verbal Therapy by a Certified AVT
  • Preschool Fluency Training
