Provider Type: Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (Spanish)
Location: Fort Worth

I’m Lindsay Ladd, M.S., CCC-SLP and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2020 as a bilingual speech-language pathologist. I earned my undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and my Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to Monkey Mouths I worked in home health and clinic settings.

I strive to provide an empathetic, individualized and functional approach to therapy with the ultimate goal of finding a way to provide each child a way to express the things on their hearts/minds and advocate for themselves. I also enjoy working with families to optimize progress through parent training, education and support throughout the therapeutic process. My primary areas of specialization include assessment/treatment of bilingual speech/language disorders and remediation of oral-motor programming/planning deficits [i.e. articulation/phonological processing disorders, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS)]

In my spare time I enjoy being active and participating in Crossfit, scouting out new coffee shops and spending time with friends and my small herd of five rescue cats

As an SLP with over 9 years of experience, I have training and specialization in the following:

  • Sound Card System
  • Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing/Edyth Strand PhD, CCC-SLP
  • Hodson Approach to Phonological Disorders
  • Applied Behavior Analysis with Vincent Carbone, PhD, ABA
  • The Hanen Program It Takes Two to Talk
