Christina Tiralosi, OTR
Provider Type: Occupational Therapist
I’m Christina Tiralosi, OT, and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2021 as an occupational therapist. I earned my undergraduate degree from Fordham University and my Master’s degree at Long Island University. Prior to Monkey Mouths, I worked in home health, private practice, and school settings.
I believe in working as a team and establishing a foundation of trust. With a combined effort of sensory integration, motor skill development, behavioral strategies, and goal-focused activities, a child can thrive during their occupations.
I like to use activities that are goal-focused and motivating to inspire children to want to participate. Work hard, but have fun.
In my free time I enjoy getting together with family, exploring new restaurants or foods, watching movies, and reading books.
As an OTR with over 5 years of experience, I have training and specialization in the following:
- Handwriting Without Tears
- DIR 101 Introduction to DIR Floortime
- Is it Sensory or Behavior? Practical tools to address sensory and behavioral issues
