I’m Emma Carlson, M.S., CCC-SLP, and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2021 as a speech-language pathologist. I earned my undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and my master's degree from Vanderbilt University. Prior to Monkey Mouths, I worked in private practice.
As a speech pathologist, I have the special privilege of helping children find their voice by providing therapy that is fun and tailored to their needs. I believe families play an integral role in a patient’s success and strive to make therapy a fun and positive experience for children and their families.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, traveling, reading and being outside.
As an SLP since 2020, I have training and specialization in the following:
- Talk Tools
- Sound Card System
- Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing/Edyth Strand Ph.D., CCC-SLP
- Kaufman Apraxia System
- Simon Says: Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT)
