Lauren Pybus, M.S., CCC-SLP
Provider Type: Speech-Language Pathologist
I’m Lauren Pybus, M.S., CCC-SLP and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2021 as a speech-language pathologist. I earned my undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and my Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to Monkey Mouths I worked in home health and adult and pediatric hospital settings.
Whether in speech or feeding therapy, I focus on building trust while having functional fun. I aim to meet each patient where they are in that specific moment to continue making progress towards their goals. Caregiver and family involvement is a vital component of the treatment process and together we will advocate for your child to set them up for continued success and develop a plan to best meet your family’s needs.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering for my Aggies!
As an SLP with over 2 years of experience, I have training and specialization in the following:
- Sound Card System
- Vital Stim
- Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing by Edythe Strand, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
- Responsive Feeding
- Guardian NMES and sEMG
