Jordan Welch, M.A., CCC-SLP

Provider Type: Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Coppell, Frisco

I’m Jordan Welch, M.A., CCC-SLP, and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2021 as a speech-language pathologist. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and my master's degree from a top 10 program at the University of Kansas. I am currently receiving my Ph.D. from the University of Texas Health San Antonio Center in Health Sciences. Prior to Monkey Mouths, I worked in home health with pediatric and school-age populations.

I approach each therapy session with the mindset of building rapport with the families and the client. Parent involvement is an important component of the client’s overall development. Together we will help the client achieve success. I place a strong emphasis on creating a safe environment for my clients to thrive in and I focus on the education and improvement of the whole client and not just their speech therapy goals. I aim for the child and family to have continued success in the treatment room and outside of it in all aspects of life.

In my free time, you can find me coaching club volleyball, traveling, reading, and spending time with my friends, family, and fur babies, Rambo and Sadie.

As an SLP with over 2 years of experience, I have training and specialization in the following:

  • CPR certified
  • Sound Card System
