Grayson Sentell, M.S., SLP Intern
Provider Type: Speech-Language Pathologist Intern
I’m Grayson Sentell, M.S., SLP Intern, and I joined Monkey Mouths in 2022 as a speech-language pathologist intern under the supervision of Megan Sordini, M.S., CCC-SLP. I earned my undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and my Master of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to Monkey Mouths, I completed clinical placements in a pediatric outpatient hospital, public school, and various university outpatient clinics addressing both speech and feeding concerns.
I believe that treatment is the most successful when it is both family-centered and engaging for the child. I love working alongside each family, not only to facilitate progress towards their child's goals, but also to work together as a team.
When I’m not at work, I love traveling, trying new restaurants, taking my two dogs (Folly, a golden retriever and Tuddy, a Havanese) on adventures, and spending time with family and friends.
As an experienced professional since 2022, I have training and specialization in the following:
- Sound Card System
- Nancy Kaufman Evaluation and Treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech
- Language Acquisition Through Motor Planning (LAMP} AAC Training by John D. Halloran, M.S., CCC-SLP
- Language Acquisition Through Motor Planning (LAMP} Moving Forward with LAMP Training by John D. Halloran, M.S., CCC-SLP
- Tongue Thrust Protocol by Mary Brezik, M.S., CCC-SLP
