D’Anna Sims, M.Ed., LPC, joined Monkey Mouths, LLC in 2019 and has over 8 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor. She enjoys working with women, teenagers and families. She has experience helping people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict and parenting issues, stress and relationship problems. Her passion is to help people that have experienced any type of loss.

D’Anna has a Master of Education degree in Counseling and Human Development from Hardin-Simmons University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Howard Payne University. Prior to her job as a counselor, she has worked as a therapist in a behavioral health hospital and as a teacher in a public school classroom. She is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy. D’Anna is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
D’Anna and her husband Troy have two children. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, walking and spending time with family and friends.
